Launch Day!

What a fabulous, exciting, exhausting day, haha! Love, Mom finally officially opening on October first was wonderful! I finally had both my city business license and the state permit to collect sales tax (required even on delivery, sorry).

I decided to gift some great moms with balloons, happy notes, and pizza! I loved that I had moms who tagged OTHER great moms-our mom friends need to know we see them and their daily sacrifices-and they are rocking parenthood. Heck, we all need a little happy and frequent encouragement in our lives.

I started my morning by blowing up balloons in my dining room (I LOVE having helium!), and I had to let them sit (to let the hi-float cure). Then I asked my husband to run get stuff for cookies (I had high expectations of myself and my day, ha!) and some coffee. Then my daughter wanted to come along for the drop off. I loaded the car (note to self.. must figure out how to wrangle multiple balloon arrangements, and do it better), and picked her up. We ordered pizzas, and started delivering!

I will also be sure to ask for addresses in advance next time we surprise mamas! We zigzagged around town-Fayetteville to Rogers, and it was FUN! I truly surprised some (they didn’t know they were tagged), and the sweet humbled responses were all worth it.

I had so much fun, I only got one picture from balloons I left on a front door for a mom at her doctor’s office. The lack of photos is a reminder that sometimes we are having too much fun to take pictures. All worth it.
